Annual Fund
Annual Fund gifts provide essential resources for fulfilling NorthShore's mission "to preserve and improve human life." This support helps create vital opportunities wherever the needs are greatest. Gifts to the Annual Fund provide flexibility for NorthShore's physicians, nurses, clinical staff and scientists to make a real difference in the communities we serve and beyond. Such generosity ensures continued excellence for NorthShore patients. Give online or contact Jeff Dunlap, Senior Director of Philanthropy, 224.364.7205, for more information.
Transformative and Leadership Gifts
A major gift to NorthShore is transformative in its ability to shape nearly every aspect of our health system, including clinical excellence, continuing medical education, innovative research and community health initiatives. Such gifts, which can be made outright or pledged over a period of several years, bring clinical programs to the next level of care.
Endowments provide financial support in perpetuity and demonstrate a donor's long-term commitment to NorthShore's mission. These gifts provide valuable resources over time to sustain a program's growth and success. Endowments allow donors the ability to create a charitable legacy in support of NorthShore and the specific clinical area, academic and/or research program that they care about.
Outright gifts made at this level can provide critical funding for capital improvements to our hospitals and clinical facilities, including construction, renovation and leading-edge technology, all of which enhance the care of our patients.

Corporate & Foundation Giving
Corporate and Foundation support is vital to NorthShore. Philanthropic investments from institutional friends are part of the transformation that makes a real difference in people's lives. Corporate and Foundation support helps NorthShore create novel clinical care programs, attract internationally recognized physicians, acquire state-of-the-art equipment, provide outreach in the community and train the next generation of caregivers.

Stewardship
NorthShore Foundation is very appreciative of every philanthropic gift we receive. The generosity of NorthShore's donors supports excellence in healthcare that transforms the lives of our patients and their families. Each donor will be promptly acknowledged for his or her gift.
NorthShore Foundation's Philanthropic Societies recognize donors' gifts. The Lifetime Societies (beginning at $100,000) recognize cumulative lifetime giving. The lasting generosity of these donors allows us to continually strive for excellence. The Annual Societies (beginning at $1,000) recognize generous donors who support NorthShore and allow us to recognize the generosity of donors who support our growth each year. Additionally, The 1891 Society recognizes individuals who have named NorthShore as the beneficiary of a planned gift, such as a bequest.
Gifts for Endowments, Centers and Facilities also provide naming opportunities. Donors in the philanthropic societies are recognized in NorthShore's Annual Report and receive invitations to special events.
